Summer is here!

Hey, world! It’s summer, it’s getting hot, and I kinda hate it. Bleh. I always preferred the other seasons. Not too many big updates this month. Just working on editing (and almost done with my end before my editor gets it/others check it) — I’ve only got a few chapters left! — and drafting ideas for book 2 currently to mix things up. My day job is busy, so that’s been pulling a bit from the writing, and some health things have been distracting me, but aside from that things are going good!

For the website, I’ve got some more art in the works, so I’ll eventually be able to put another page (or two??) back online, and that’ll bring the site closer to being officially finished.

Let’s see… for media, I’ve been working on finishing recommendation for the Percy Jackson books (bit on the backburner, but I’m working on them), I’ve started The Lost Hero too, and an interesting little book called UnLondon. I’ve been recently playing through the Assassin’s Creed games (just finished most of them, I’ll be playing through Resident Evil from the start after that). Been playing some Control and Darktide too when I want to feel inspired.

Aside from that, I think that’s everything. Enjoy summer, y’all! I’ll be over here waiting for the leaves to turn and the spooky decorations to come back.
