August Heat brings September Treats

A silly meme I drew based on the game, Darktide, and my experience with one of its newer characters

I’ve been editing a good amount the last few weeks, trying to get this manuscript done. It’s close, so very close. As long as nothing silly happens, I should be getting it sent off before the end of the year! It’s also August, which means it is hot and summer is in it’s last act.

I can’t wait for fall. Cool air, leaves changing colors, the smell of apple cider and the carving of pumpkins. I’m so excited. I’ve blitzed through 5 of the 7 Narnia books, started the Heroes of Olympus with my mom, and completed quite a few games this year, but the most important thing I’ve done so far is get my book, my whole vision, back onto a track that I feel can work. It’s been hard, been frustrating, and been really demoralizing at times, but it’s finally coming together on my end.

Oh, also! We may be getting another cat soon. We have one now, but we’ve been talking about getting a friend for her so she isn’t so lonely. More on that in October though. Stay safe, stay cool, and stay together friends. :]
